Holiday Specials now LIVE! Don't miss out!
At the time of your appointment, your co-pay will be collected, if there is a co-pay to collect. However sometimes, the co-pay or co-insurance you owe is not known until after your insurance has processed the claim. This can be days to a few weeks after your appointment. In these situations, you will receive a billing statement letter in the mail with next steps instructions; this will be from our billing partner, Elite Medical Billing.
Please also note, at the time of your appointment, we will require a credit card to be put on file for ALL patients with PPO, Tricare only, and Medicare only (ie there is no secondary insurance). This is a policy that many medical offices are implementing. The purpose of this is to make billing smoother and efficient for everyone; it will also prevent patients from missing or delayed payments. Please note, we will not charge your card on file without first notifying you! In other words, we will inform you first before charging, or wait to hear for your permission first. If you have further questions you can call us or discuss with us at the time of your visit.
After you receive the billing statement, you can pay via one of these options:
1) Pay yourself via the link on the right (it takes you to a Square site for secure payment),
2) Inform H Dermatology to charge your card on file. You can do this by calling us at 562-800-3072, press option 9, and leave a voice mail with your name and date of service. We will process the card on file and a receipt will be emailed to you.
3) Pay in person at H Dermatology (bring your billing statement letter)
4) Mail in a check (make sure to include the slip that comes with your billing letter)
5) Call Elite Medical Billing. 818- 369- 7464
We appreciate your completion of outstanding balances within 90 days.
