What happens if my insurance is not accepted?
If your insurance is not accepted, you can still choose to be seen for private pay. In this situation, we can provide a "superbill" for out-of-network reimbursement. Please check with your insurance plan to see if you have out-of-network reimbursement benefits.
Will insurance cover cosmetic procedures?
Cosmetic procedures are private pay, and generally not covered by insurance companies. You are always welcome to call your insurance provider to ask.
We make every attempt to accept as many insurances as possible. Sometimes, insurance companies decline adding on new providers. Over time we will attempt requesting insurances again to see if we can join their networks.
***Sometimes there are exceptions. For example, even though we are in network with Blue Shield overall, there are some specific sub-plans that BlueShield has not granted us access to. If you're ever not sure, the best thing to do is to call the eligibility check phone number on the back of your insurance card, and get a case reference #.
