What is Microneedling?

Microneedling is a minimally invasive skin treatment where a healthcare provider uses fine needles to create small punctures in the top layer of the skin. This controlled damage triggers the skin's natural healing process, leading to increased production of collagen and elastin, which are essential for maintaining firm and smooth skin.

While microneedling is commonly performed on the face, it can also be done on the legs, back, neck, or other areas with damaged or aging skin. Multiple sessions are typically required to achieve the desired results.

At H Dermatology, we use SkinPen for microneedling.  SkinPen is the first FDA cleared microneedling device and the only FDA cleared microneedling protocol manufactured and engineered in the USA.   It has been studied in over 90 validation studies.  It is safe for all skin types.
